Writing Recap I – Composition Skills for Adults Part 1
This course is designed for adults who want to brush up or improve their writing skills. The course will show participants how to develop focus, organize ideas, order sentences, and take command of language for different purposes. It will cover 4 assignments: 1 fable, 1 narrative, and 2 summaries, plus supplemental material along the way. Although there is no set time limit for completion, students can complete the course through a series of emails over a period of 8-12 weeks.
Skills
Choosing topics, topic sentences, outlining, narrating, drafting, self-editing, revising, grammar, mechanics, and stylistic techniques.

Writing Recap II – Composition Skills for Adults Part 2
Writing Recap II is a continuation course is designed for adults who want to continue to brush up or improve their writing skills. The course will show participants how to develop focus and organize ideas from multiple sources, order thoughts and paragraphs, and further use language for vivid impact. It will cover 4 assignments: 2 fused mini-reports and 2 personal essays, plus supplemental material along the way. Although there is no set time limit for completion, students can complete the course through a series of emails over a period of 8-12 weeks.

Choosing topics, combining ideas from multiple sources, thesis statements, outlining, narrating, drafting, self-editing, revising, grammar, mechanics, and stylistic techniques.
