Editing Services

For those students who have completed a series of Writing Foundations or IEW courses and are simply in need of an independent editor, Student Editing Services is just the ticket. Ms. B. will edit your student’s papers for spelling, typos, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, clarity, word choices, redundancy, organizational inconsistencies, and style. SES includes complementary access to all of Ms. B’s online writing aids.

Using the Writing Foundations Grammar Guide and other online handouts for reference, Ms. B. will edit each submission (sent as a PDF) using iAnnotate. Participants must be able to convert paper to a PDF and have Adobe Acrobat Viewer to read edits.

Students are selected for SES on a case-by-case basis only. If you are interested in Writing Foundations Student Editing Services, contact

Editing Plans
$40 – up to 1000 words in cumulative edits
$80 – up to 2500 words in cumulative edits
$160 – up to 5000 words in cumulative edits

Terms and Conditions
Allow 3 to 5 days turn around time for each submission.

The word count for each submission will be subtracted from the pre-paid plan amount. The total used is cumulative per submission. For example, if draft 1 of an essay on The Mind of a Chicken equals 459 words, and later submission of draft 2 of The Mind of a Chicken equals 503 words, the total number of word credits used would be 962 words. That would leave 38 word credits left of a 1000 word plan.

Leftover word credits may be rolled into a new plan but new plan must be purchased before Ms. B. will edit next submission. Unused word credits will not be refunded for any reason.

An average 5 paragraph essay (2.5 pages, double spaced, 1 inch margins) equals approximately 1000 words.

Each submission must include assignment title, draft number if applicable, and student’s full name on the first page.

Total document word count includes assignment title, draft number, and student’s full name.

Submissions must be double spaced with 12 point font and 1 inch margins all around.

Student must designate assignment title, draft number if applicable, and document word count when uploading each submission.

Student must submit assignment as a PDF document using the Student Editing Services Upload Form. The link for the form will be provided at the time of registration.

Student must have Adobe Acrobat Viewer to enjoy Ms. B’s edits.
